This form also appears in Catalan, Irish, Italian, Occitan, Portuguese, Spanish, Aragonese, Galician, Leonese, Navajo, and Vietnamese language as a variant of the letter "i". In Latin, the long i ⟨ꟾ⟩ is used instead of í for a long i-vowel.
