Shin (also spelled Šin (šīn) or Sheen) is the twenty-first and penultimate letter of the Semitic abjads, including Arabic sīn س and šīn ش, Aramaic šīn 𐡔, Hebrew šīn ש, Phoenician šīn 𐤔 and Syriac šīn ܫ.
